Information for prospective exhibitors

We are delighted that you are interested in exhibiting at the New England Folk Festival.
We are always glad to hear from new crafts people.

The application deadline for the 2008 festival has passed.

Please read the following information first, then if you would like to be put on our mailing list
to be alerted when the 2009 festival application goes up on the web

•   The Crafts Room at NEFFA is meant to showcase the work of craftspeople in the traditional dance & music community.
     If you do not make the items you would like to exhibit yourself, please do not apply to the Crafts Room.
     You may consider applying to the NEFFA Bazaar instead.

•   The Crafts Room at NEFFA is juried. We are committed to showing the highest-quality crafts.
    If you are accepted you will be guaranteed a space for 3 consecutive festivals, including the coming one.
    At the end of that time you must be juried again to continue exhibiting.

•  Your booth must be attended at all times.
   The hours are 6pm - 11:30pm Friday, 10am - 11:30pm Saturday, and 10am - 5:30 pm Sunday.
    Set up is from 3pm - 6 pm on Friday. (You must be set up by 6pm.)

•  The fee for the space is $75, due upon acceptance. ***Please do NOT send a check until accepted.***
    Most spaces are 10' X 10'. (A very few are 10' X 12' and four corner spaces are 8'X12'.) Tables and chairs are provided.

•  The hall has spaces for approximately 30 booths and 20-25 craftspeople usually return each year.
   A conscientious effort is made to balance the crafts represented in the room. About one third of the exhibitors are instrument makers.

•  We strongly encourage craft demonstrations. They take place in a special area on a published schedule.
